INTRODUCTION

Classic Solitaire, also referred to as Klondike, is an enduring one-player card game admired for its simplicity and strategic nature. It utilizes a standard deck of cards to construct four foundation piles, one for each suit, arranged in ascending order starting from Ace and ending at King. By employing deliberate planning and strategic moves, players reveal hidden cards and successfully complete the tableau.


GUIDELINES

  1. Preparation:
  • A thoroughly shuffled deck is arranged into seven columns.
  • The initial column contains one card facing upwards, while the second column has two cards (one facing upwards and one facing downwards). This pattern continues, with each subsequent column containing one additional card and the topmost one exposed.
  1. Gameplay:
  • Tableau Building: Arrange cards in a descending sequence (King to Ace), alternating colors (e.g., Red 7 on Black 8).
  • Card Revealing: Move face-up cards to uncover hidden cards beneath them.
  • Foundation Placement: Transfer cards to the four foundation piles, organizing them by suit in ascending order (Ace to King).
  • When no moves are available in the tableau, draw cards from the Stock Pile.
  1. Objective:
  • To emerge as the victor, arrange all cards into the foundation piles.
